KritiKal Solutions Private Limited was founded in Aug 2002 by five eminent faculty members and seven graduates from the Dept of Computer Sciences & Engineering of IIT-Delhi. The motivation of founding KritiKal was to enable cutting-edge, creative and innovative product development within the country and, effectively transferring technology from academia to industry.

KritiKal is the first faculty-graduates led technology start-up to have successfully incubated within Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi). The passion and enthusiasm of seven founding members along with rich experience of founding faculty members, has helped it to achieve several milestones in limited time. In order to meet its aggressive expansion plan Kritikal shifted their base from IIT Delhi to Noida (Under National Capital Region).

Within a short time span of three years of its foundation, KritiKal spun out a subsidiary ‘KritiKal Securescan Private Limited' (KSS). KSS is a product based company, currently engaged in commercializing ‘ZenScan’, an advance vehicle scanner system.

In mid 2006, KritiKal received investment from Nucleus Group to scale up design and services activities in offshore and domestic market.
